We have put together a bargain box which contains a good selection of cleaning essentials to bump start a plastic free and sustainable cleaning journey.
Unfortunately lots of commercially bought cloths and sponges deposit micro-plastics when used and are destined for landfill at the end of their life which is wasteful and harmful to our plant. This was the inspiration for our bundle - our starter kit is 100% plastic free and all of the contents will biodegrade or home-compost.

Washable Sponges - These sponge cloths do not emit micro-plastic pollution, unlike classic sponges. They are very absorbent, durable and reusable, further benefiting from being home-compostable after use as they are made from a mixture of plant cellulose and cotton. Can be used all around the home for cleaning, wiping and dish washing. Pop them in the washing machine to wash and re-use.
Maistic All Purpose Cloths - Made completely from viscose cloth bio-based on tree fibres, they are soft and do not create scratches on surfaces whilst still being strong enough to create a gentle scrubbing effect if required. Ideal for daily household tasks inside or outside the home such as dusting, wiping and general cleaning. They are 100% FREE of traditional plastic and use natural formed dye for the print on the cloth.
Safix Wash Pads - Made entirely from Coconut Hair, these pads are hard wearing but does not scratch surfaces - ideal for scrubbing and scouring tasks all around the home. Perfect for cleaning ovens, hobs and showers.
Coconut Scourer - Great for cleaning hard surfaces such as stoves, used pans and bath tubs - they easily cut through tough grease and dirt whilst being scratch free. Made from naturally antibacterial, and sustainably farmed from coconut husk's (which is the outside of dried coconuts) they are 100% biodegradable so there is no long lasting impact on the planet at the end of their life. Perfect!
Loofco Cleaning Pad - Made using Loofah Plant and Cotton, these long lasting, non-scratch, flexible and durable washpads are sewn together to create a cleaning pad with extra scrubbing power - perfect for cleaning baths, sinks, tiles, and taps. LoofCo Cleaning Pads swell when wet to create a sponge-like, flexible but robust surface.

All items in the starter kit are posted in a recyclable cardboard box.
